CSL is developing a variety of workshop spaces, including areas for wood, metal, and plastics work, as well as facilities for fashion, electronics, CAD/CAM, documentation, and an event/gallery space.
Wood/Metal and Plastics

A fully equipped space for woodworking, metalwork, and plastics fabrication, this workshop supports a range of creative practices — from sculpture and set design to product development. With a focus on safety, sustainability, and hands-on skill-building, it’s a place for makers to shape, construct, and refine their ideas.
Fashion

Our Fashion Studio is equipped with sewing machines, pattern-cutting tables, and mannequins, providing everything needed to take a design from concept to creation. The space supports designers, makers, and students working on garments, textiles, and fashion prototypes — encouraging experimentation and collaboration in a supportive, professional environment.
Electronics

The Electronics Studio is a hub for innovation, supporting both digital fabrication and traditional electronics. Whether you’re developing wearable technology, prototyping interactive works, or learning the basics of circuitry, this space provides the tools and guidance to explore the connections between art, design, and technology.
CAD/CAM

Our CAD/CAM Workshop connects digital design with physical making. Featuring 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC router, it allows artists and designers to turn their digital models into tangible objects. The workshop encourages creative experimentation at the intersection of technology and craftsmanship.
Documentation

Our Documentation Studio provides the tools and environment for photographing, filming, and archiving creative work. With professional lighting, backdrops, and digital equipment, it helps artists capture their process and showcase their outcomes with clarity and professionalism.
Event/Gallery Space

The Event Space & Gallery is a flexible area for exhibitions, talks, workshops, and community events. Designed to showcase the work of our members and local creatives, it provides an inspiring setting for public engagement and creative exchange. The space can also host collaborative projects, open studios, and pop-up events, helping to build bridges between artists, audiences, and the wider community.
